Welcome to La Pinsa Mia, a family-owned pizza company based in Oceanside, California. Our mission is to create delicious Pinsas using only the highest quality ingredients. Our Pinsas are made in the traditional Roman style, with a unique blend of soy, rice, and wheat flour. We take pride in sourcing our ingredients locally and supporting our community. La Pinsa Mia was founded just recently but we’ve been serving up authentic pinsas ever since. Come visit us and taste the difference!

It all started with a walk through Balboa park in March 2022. Down on our luck after losing our business due to Covid my wife and I took a walk through Balboa park on her birthday. We noticed that there were not many food options for the many people visiting the park. The next day we set up a pop-up selling "Pinsa" a Roman style pizza we leaned to make from our good friends from Rome. Our customers loved the light and crunchy Roman style pizza and within two months we were selling in 15 farmers markets in San Diego and had signed a lease on a brand new commercial kitchen. Our lifelong dream having our own bakery/pizzeria had come true. Our "secret" is our impossibly light and crunchy crust. It takes three days to make each Pinsa crust. We parbake the crusts to a golden brown and then top them with the very best ingredients we can find. We then put the Pinsa back into the oven for the final bake. Our Pinsa's are light, crispy and very easy to digest. This healthy alternative to Pizza is delicious and satisfying yet not heavy. The only way to beat it is with two tickets on the next fight to Rome!
